New York – Pictures from the Top of 30 Rock

I went back to New York City for the first time in over 20 years a couple of weeks ago. These pictures are from the top of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. This will be part of a series of NYC photos I post. The view from up here blew me away. I shot all of these pictures with my little Canon PowerShot SD970 IS Digital Elph.

This is where it starts, the bottom of Rockefeller Plaza.

Looking up from the bottom at the street level:

The entry point to the sky, aka The Rainbow Room and the Observation Deck at the top of NBC Studios:

Looking north you get to see all of Central Park.

I took this picture from the deck of our cabin in Bryson City, NC at the end of the summer of 2007.Â I like the look of layers of mountains.

I took this picture around 7:30 am in early January through the sunroof of my car while driving down I-75, just south of Atlanta, GA.Â (I know, not the safest shot, but at least I wasn’t on my cell phone too.)Â I thought the mixture of fog and smog made the sun and sky look really cool.

I took this picture one morning in the spring of 2004 after camping at our farm in middle Georgia.Â I’ll have more to post from this particular morning when I was walking around before everyone else woke up.
