I thought some of you would enjoy seeing this article in the Canadian newspaper, The Globe and Mail. It’s from a very short interview the author did with me a few weeks ago (and includes a picture of me). He has a regular column that runs weekly and highlights different traders around North America.
It doesn’t appear option traders are a regular part of his series, so it’ll be interesting to see how the comments go. It’d be nice to see a few extra book sales come about from it, but if not, it’s always amusing to see your name in print. I think my parents still have the newspaper cutout from our local town newspaper that had my picture on the cover when I was a young kid at camp. Maybe this will join their scrapbook.

I’m not planning any trades today. It looks like the 20-day moving average is acting as resistance. I’m waiting to see if the 10-day moving average provides support a little lower and then I might make some changes. My account balance is only about 0.5% below my starting point this year and I don’t see a massive sell-off coming soon. A little more weakness would benefit my plans to buy more on the dips. For now, I’ll keep watching the moving averages and will remain patient as my positions’ time value erosion continues to help me.
