I’ve just rolled my short Call out and up on ICE. They announced pretty good results this morning.
I managed to buy the short Feb 120 Call back at $2.45 (originally received $2.49).
I then sold a short Mar 125 Call at $2.49.
Basically, after commissions, the roll could be considered just about free.
In total, I’ve had a net debit of $1,450 on ICE and am currently long a Jan 2012 110 Call and short a March 2011 125 Call.
If assigned on my short Call, I’ll be going short 100 shares of ICE at $125. At that point, I’ll consider selling Put Options against the short shares whilst continuing to hold the long Jan 2012 Call.
