I rarely get a chance to watch Mad Money although I Tivo it and try to watch some, but I generally just read the recap on line. I list all of Cramer’s bullish picks and start my research on them from there. I also make sure none the stocks I have an interest in are in his bearish mentions. Last night he list the following as being bullish on: CAT, KO, KBR, MMR, MA, JEC, DEEP, LOW, SDXC, BALL, VZ,CERN and RAD. Out of those, I removed those I can’t sell options on and then filtered out the ones that have low premiums. My last quick check was to see how schaeffersresearch.com rated them. That left me with four to chart: CAT, MA, JEC and CERN.
CAT looks good. I’m planning to try to buy CAT in my IRA and sell a covered call on it.
MA looks good for selling naked puts.
JEC is due for a slight pull back since it’s at the top of its trading range. I might put a limit in to sell naked puts at 50 or 52.50.
CERN just had a quick run up and I’m not the best at predicting direction from there. I’m thinking about the July 55 puts and will watch it a little longer to make my decision.
