I live and vote in Fulton County, Georgia and got up early to vote this morning. My wife and I took our 4 1/2 year old son to the polls for his second presidential election. It went very smoothly. We got there at 6:30 and waited in line for 30 minutes before they opened. The line moved at a steady pace for our 45 minute wait. Everyone was friendly in line and we heard no one talk politics which was refreshing. It’s sunny today in Atlanta and the morning temperature was around 57 degrees. It could get up to 70 by this afternoon which makes a nearly perfect weather day.
Georgia allows early voting, but I like voting on the day of the election. In the end, our wait was less than the stories I heard from most of the people who voted early (up to 3 hours). The reports in Georgia are that 36% of registered voters pre-voted and they expect voter turnout to be near 90%. I think that’s very cool, no matter for whom people are voting.
Did you vote today (or early) and how your lines were?
I voted early here in Colorado 10 days ago. It took less than 15 min.
Suburban Minneapolis — In-and-Out in 15 minutes at 7:30am CST.
My wife and I voted at 1:30 on election day. No line. We were in and out in about 15 minutes which included chatting with some friends that were working the polls.

Thank u for the great information.
Voting was actually relatively easy on election day. Kind of surprised me with how many problems they were predicting. I didn’t let that scare me though. I tried to leave early in order to get my vote in and make it count.
