Covered Calls – Free Excel Spreadsheet for ROI

I just added a new free spreadsheet to my Excel Spreadsheets section.  This one shows Return on Investment (ROI) for covered calls.  I’m pretty sure I have it right to cover ITM or OTM calls.  Since I use Ameritrade, those are the commissions I used in my formulas.  Please let me know if you see any mistakes or just have some suggestions on how to improve this or any of my other spreadsheets I have posted.

I viewed the profit/loss and roi sheets. Both are good for records and current info. I find most of this in my brokerage info, but working separate records seems to me a good way to really “know” in your mind what you are doing and not forget, since you actually had to plug them in and not just make the trade. It is vital to know your portfolio. Again, ol’ Jim Cramer teaches “buy and homework”. I liked his story how he started when he was young without much money but alot of motivation; much of which apparently came from how his Dad trained him. I truly hope my kids are richer than me, and their kids richer than them, etc. Personally, i am too lazy for spreadsheets, but i see the value…. (Someday I will use them)
